Chantelle Beckett, an Architect by profession, has been drawing, painting and creating her whole life. Largely self-trained in painting, she has recently reignited her passion for works in acrylic. Her subjects vary from landscapes to abstracts and portraiture. If a subject matter or composition draws her eye, it is captured on canvas or paper. She enjoys the challenge of realism, as well as capturing the play of light and colour. As a recently emerging artist based in Perth, Western Australia, her work has appeared in a number of local art shows, with pieces held in both private and public collections.
